SSS in UDK tutorial

Came across a great subsurface scattering tutorial this evening, compliments of  Virtuosic on the Polycount forums

He's also posted an incredible video capture of the shader in action here

After a lengthy hiatus, it's time to jump back in to UDK!

  2. Hey, Andy - the tutorial is actually a write up mentioned in the polycount thread. i've linked here:

    you'll need to know some hlsl / be familiar with custom shaders in UDK to get everything working. I've also found a similar implementation here for download:

    I'll do a write up soon describing the different methods of SSS and a proper tutorial soon; I've gotten several questions on this matter.

      Something is also missing, TMM_SkinShader.ppc.Skin (Check the log to see all references!)
